Reason for Dispute

The Finish MMA Federation overturned the official decision (Stefan Sekulic won a fight via judges decision) two weeks after the event, based on a protest filed by a domestic fighter, Olli Santalahti, and his team. Even though the first decision was brought by judges in Finland as well. With no logical explanation they overturned the result to a strange "No Contest"?! Is that even possible... The saddest part is that this is not the first time similar situation happened under Finish MMA Federation and CAGE organisation. In 2015 victory of Rafael Macedo was also overturned to a No Contest, and again in favour of domestic fighter, who was declared a loser at first. If it is possible to change the decision only when it doesn't suit or favours a domestic fighter, it is something that should not happen in MMA, and something that is in no way good for the sport. It means that any organisation in the world can change the decision if the domestic fighter is not satisfied with the result. It doesn't seem right and fair, especially if such a practice seems to become regular when it comes to certain MMA federations, and always in favour of domestic fighter. These things shouldn't be done if the organisations wants any foreign fighters to participate their events. It is sad if it stays like this.
