Originally a Split Decision win for Sekulic, after an appeal submitted by Santalahti the Finnish MMA Federation asked three other judges to score the fight again based on video footage. After they all scored the first (and contested) round for Santalahti, the Finnish MMA Federation unanimously ruled the protest as accepted and changed the result of the fight to No Contest.
