shipman could be more than a journeyman if....
I know Charlie Ward is wide but he isn't by any means big for the weight class. I had to look on tap because I swore Shipman was a ww (obvi i was wrong lifetime mw). His frame is 5'10 74in reach he NEEDS to cut to ww and if ever pigs fly and he got a ufc contract id think he'd be a mid to big sized light weight. In the end that seems to be the difference between UFC and Bellator. It's not the skill difference so much as the guys willing to suck more weight to get the size advantage.

Yeah Ward doesnt look too fit.... I think his background is as a local tough guy, and I have noticed guys who try to overly bully or intimidate in the cage are usually doing that to make up for lack of skills or fitness... There are exceptions like MVP but even he is lacking in areas
