Injuries Sustained During Fight
Browarski: Broken Nose
Sakara: Torn Biceps
Over 8 months after the fight originally ended (in a punching exchange Sarara tore one of his biceps and was unable to continue), the Croatian MMA Federation has decided to change the outcome to a "No Contest" explaining that Sarara's injury was not caused by a punch or any attack of any sort from his opponent. Additionally further analysis of the score cards showed that Sakara had been awarded more points because of aggression and ring control. The decision was final.
Neither Maciej Browarski nor even his gym were informed about this development, not even the final decision. He was only informed about it by an MMA site that was informed by Final Fight Championship to updated the results.
This however was not the end of the case. After the FFC press representative refused to further elaborate on the situation, it was discovered that the Croatian MMA Federation has not only not given out the decision, but was not even aware of the case. As it turns out the document with their decision has been forged, as well as the signatures of two high ranking Croatian MMA Federation officials, who were also refereeing the event on which the fight took place and who vehemently denied ever having this brought under consideration - to them Browarski was a clear winner. The case continues.
