Correct but you never know. Sage was given a supposed easy fight at 200 and he squeaked by.

Paige is the more proven commodity than Sage at this point, though. You're right in that you never know for sure, but I feel more confident about picking PVZ here than I did picking Northcutt against Marin.

this has the undercard of a TUF finale

not much going on with this card in general

whatever small interest I had in A. Pettis, theres even less remaining after USADA, and a bout vs Oliviera at 145 does not tickle my fancy, Pettis wont be able to hang at 145 for long, he will probably get back at 155 after a couple of hard cuts and loosing against Mendez or Edgar.

Paige will probably storm Rawlings because thats what she does, and while entertaining I dont think thats what she needs in order to grow as a fighter

Miller vs Lauzon has two fighters that Ive been fan for a long tima and the first fight was awesome. But im not too interested in this rematch I think they could have set up better fights for both of them. and this fight probably wont be as exciting as the first one so I would rather keep the memory of the first fight.

Alvey is fun to watch (most times) he´ll probably put away Casey in the 1st rd.

the only fight that I have real interest is the main event, its going to be a battle of will and skills. I have no idea who would impose his skills over the other but im leaninig towards Maia.

respect both fighters greatly and would be happy with either man getting the title shot. I'm leaning towards cheering for Maia though as if he loses I don't think he'd get another shot but I don't trust his cardio and so Condit might not be the best match up for him.
will be interesting to see though.

Personally I think Maia's finishing ability is a bit overrated, despite having out of this world grappling.Obviously a great finisher, but still idt it's as good as most people make it out to be.For instance, people saying if Maia gets it down he'll win,I think that's a silly thing to say.Condit has great bjj of his own, great submission defense and hasn't been submitted in over 10 years.Maia has only actually finished 2 of his last 8 fights, but has been looking great lately. He could finish Condit,I just don't think he will, just my opinion. If he doesn't get the sub he could grapple **** Condit enough for a decision,Condit's tdd isn't exactly the best.Fights are becoming much less predictable though these days.

agreed kuma- I think maia can get the takedown repeatedly and can keep dominant posistions, but it'll be a decision most likley, he dosnt take risks for submissions unless he knows its there- I only see the sub happening if Condit gives his back.

I think you guys are vastly underestimating both condit ground game and his pace.  You think Maia can keep up with condit for 5 rounds, I think you will be sadly mistaken. I think Condit is going to dominate and then hopefully get his rightful title shot.

I think Maia will control position for the first couple rounds but Condit's conditioning will allow him to take over towards the third and he'll finish in the 4th or 5th.

Sadly mistaken?I said he could grapple **** Condit to a decision.I have Condit in this fight and never questioned that pick.I think he finishes Maia at some point or dominates the 2nd half to a decision, likely a finish though.Which is why I responded after watching some of that video that made it look like Condit was doomed (at least the first third of the video or however much I watched). That's why I brought up my opinion that his finishing ability is a bit overrated and that I didn't think he'd sub Condit.

Such an interesting fight and style clash!I can't wait.Hate to see either lose too =/ If either guy loses that could be it for them,Maia's getting old and Condit talks about moving on from the sport possibly soon.
