it sounds like Overeem's "out" may be that he wasn't licensed by the NSAC when they did the random test. If the NSAC over-stepped boundaries by drug-testing someone who wasn't even licensed by the NSAC, then that could be his smoking gun. Just thought I'd post that here since we were talking about how he could possibly still be in the fight next month and his hearing is in just over a week.

To be honest, I'm not sure how he could've been licensed for the Lesnar fight and have the random tests agreed upon but then not have been licensed when they did this random test. But the info comes from Mike "The Voice" Schiavello on HDNet when he said "You know, while we're talking about the subject, Kenny, I just wanna chime in here on a couple things that have been playing on my mind, the last week or so, since the news of Alistair broke. Alistair doesn't have a license with the Nevada State Athletic Commission, so how are they testing him in the first place when he doesn't have a license with them? By what jurisdiction are they testing him?" ---- Schiavello and Overeem are known to be friends for many years but I can't see why he would be saying Alistair didn't have a license with the NSAC at the time of the random test unless he didn't. I don't know the specifics of the random testing agreement he made with the NSAC, but maybe Overeem's license had expired, the random tests were agreed upon only while he was licensed, and before he renewed it they random tested him without the right to do so(?). I can't see any other reason he's confident the fight will happen and the UFC isn't naming a replacement.
