Rumored for 198. Going out on the limb on this one ... Crazy, Demian Maia may not make the main card.

You're telling me both Uriah Hall and Anderosn Silva ducked Mousasi for an easier fight?

I know Silva wants to fight in Brazil, but I thought they'd bring him back for UFC 200.

Potentially an exciting fight regardless of the card and location.

Who would've thought that Silva would be fighting Uriah Hall? I think it's enough of a step down that Silva can win this fairly easily if "Bad Uriah" shows up.

At this point in their careers I think Hall KOs Silva. He got hit a lot by Bisping. Hall is a lot faster and hits a lot harder. I see a nap for the spider coming sadly.

Hall doesn't have Bisping's work-rate, all-around fight savvy and if you think he was cautious and hesitant before wait 'till you see him against someone as dangerous as Anderson.

I think this is 15 minutes of two fighters waiting for the other to do something so they can counter and every now and then Hall throws something flashy in the air just because he's been thinking about it for 30 seconds and hasn't found how to land it and needs to clear his train of thought for the next strike he wants to throw.

I think Anderson either takes the decision by picking up the pace in the third or a late finish.

Why is it Uriah Hall has this ability to make people think he's actually a top 10 caliber fighter? People actually think he beat Mousasi because he was better than the Moose. Or that he only lost to Kelvin Gastelum, Rafael Natal, Forrest Whittaker because "the Good Hall didn't show up"...Didn't he lose to John Howard too?

Also, Chris Weidman and Costa's Philippou outstruck Hall, and the Hall that fought Costas was probably some of the best form I've ever seen him in. Lastly Anaconda Choke is over here talking like because Bisping beat Anderson, Hall will?

I don't think Hall is top 10. I just think Anderson has fallen that far off. He's 41. People are expecting too much from him based on the past. The last fight he legitimately won that hasn't been overturned to a NC was against Stephan Bonnar over 3 years ago. I don't think there's a lot of top 20 - 15 MWs Anderson can beat anymore. There's always the chance that hesitant, super low fight IQ Hall shows up and gets axe kicked in the neck, but I think he'll come in extremely prepared because of the opportunity it is. For Anderson what does this fight really mean to him? A paycheck is all I can think of at this point.

I think it's somewhat of a 50/50 fight, Anderson is so far gone from where he was, it is painful to watch, yet at the same time I think Anderson did better vs Bisping and Nick Diaz than Uriah Hall would have, he arguably won both and I'd pick Nick and Bisping over Hall, Bisping comfortably over Hall barring some freak occurrence. Diaz vs Hall is a weird one, but in a 5 round fight I'm pretty confident I'd pick Nick over Hall.

Anderson still has decent power, recovery, speed, counters, reflexes etc. I'd say the biggest take away from Silva is he has almost no idea how to fight when he can't lure his opponents into an over zealous sense of security and or make them freeze and watch him. Now that his natural abilities he has relied on so long have been perishing and his aura of being some kind of jedi has been shattered, he's rather ineffective out there in a lot of respects. Which is funny, because Hall kind of has a similar issue, though Hall...just is not nearly as good...not nearly as calm, aware, experienced, trained, intelligent, and skilled in general compared to Anderson. But because Anderson is 41 and showing glaring holes in his game, has tested positive for steroids, has lost fights, sustained a freak injury that will probably effect him for the rest of his life against The Chris and much more that could be mentioned...I give Hall about a 50% shot at winning this.

In the end, they both ducked Mousasi bro.

UFC: Just lost to Robert Whittaker ? Let's give you arguably the greatest fighter of all time!

But in reality, I can really see Hall catching Andersons chin with a sneaky kick, since Silva's chin has been getting worse and worse.

I guess I could see Hall landing something random like he sometimes does, but I anticipate Hall being kinda scurred in there with Silva.

Should be a fun fight to watch.  I don't remember seeing Anderson this low on a main card in a long time.
