Yay! Two counter strikers circling each other and throwing leg kicks, both waiting for the other to engage for three rounds.

Haha! My thoughts exactly, yet the UFC are so clueless about the actual intricacies of striking and what kind of strikers thier fighters are that they were most likely all "yeah! Spinning **** bruh" when they made this fight.

Yoss, I just think they want to attract the people who know the names.

If they wanted to attract the people who know the names, they should of booked Shogun vs. Silva as the co-main.

The casuals will tune-in if they know the Heavyweight belt is on the line, Shogun vs. Silva, and Belfort in Brazil, and Cyborg's UFC debut are all on the card.

IMAO, the most dynamic Brazilian card they could've made is...

- Werdum vs. Stipe
- A. Silva vs. Shogun
- Belfort vs. Jacare
- Maia vs. Brown
- Cyborg vs. Germaine de Randamie

Shogun and Silva were both from the same gym so I doubt they would have done that.

Should've just retired after the loss to Bisping!

Why? I think he looked great against Bisping (well, not Anderson Silva great, but great enough for me not to start calling for his retirement), who's a front-runner for title contention. In fact, Bisping was saved by the bell, he basically lost that fight ...

If Silva still likes to fight and can still be competitive against guys in the top 10 why should he retire? I doubt he's doing it for the money or necessarily the belt anymore, he's going on a journey with himself, I don't see anything wrong with him fighting.

Also, I believe Hall's going to freeze against him, like he does against every single one of his opponents who is worth talking about (even Mousasi, he was getting creamed by and then landed a desparation kick he aimed at the body on Mousasi's head which 99 times out of 100 wouldn't even be close to where Uriah kicked).

I don't think Silva's at that sad Bigfoot Silva stage of his career just yet and he genuinely seems to love doing what he does. It's not all about UFC gold.

Yeah I guess that's true. I just think the Anderson that was around prior to the two Weidman losses would never have lost to Bisping. He just doesnt seem the same anymore. He can obviously still compete at this level so why not I guess but I just don't get the excitement I used to for his bouts now.
