Clay usually comes to fight but he didn't tonight. I'm very disappointed in him. However crybaby Maynard didn't win this fight. Should have been a draw or Guida with a split.  How dare Maynard talk about coming to fight and all that b.s. he is the Jon Fitch of 155. His 11 wins were mainly just him literally laying on people. Gray has FINISHED a grand total of 0 fights. Maynard fighting for the title is a joke too. Nate Diaz has earned that right.

I like Maynard vs. Hendersen

Predictions: 3 of 5 Winners, 0 Perfect, 150 Points   |   Tied for 1061st

That was a really confident speech after the fight in Edgars favor, but I think two things will happen that will turn that sideways.

1. They will make Maynard fight again to earn a title shot.
2. Edgar will not win his rematch.

I think Benson is too strong and tactical and Edgar's speed and precision can't touch that.

So my question to you is, who do you think is next for Maynard and how do you think he would match up against Hendersen?

I am sensing a Diaz v. Maynard contender match.

Guida went from my second favorite fighter to not even making my top ten after that display of running and dancing. The judges did a good job of not awarding wins to guys that didn't engage in their fight. Hioki for trying to be a blanket and Guida for trying out for "Dancing with the Stars".

HOW IS THIS THE WORST DECISION EVER?!

Guida landed like 5 strikes in this whole fight.

@messiah Im not saying they were good rounds, but in a round where all that happens is a few jabs then a few jabs beats nothing at all. Im sure they'll be plenty of statistics readily available over the weekend, and i'll probably rewatch it as well, and if im wrong i'll hold my hands up but in the mean time Im going to sleep before it gets too light, dam these short nights.

How can you guys justify Maynard's performance?  He knew what to expect when he stepped into that cage with Guida.  Guida is known for his relentless pace and crazy footwork/head movement.  He didn't do **** except get mad and start showing some offence in the later rounds.

I wasn't a fan of that fight.  I'm not a big fan of Guida and not a fan of Maynard.  It was boring and NEITHER GUY did much throughout the fight, so someone tell me where all this hate for GUIDA is coming from?  Just because Gray put his hands down and ate a few shots now everyone is bowing down to him and raging against Guida. ok...

OK - that was not a gameplan.

That was embarrassing to watch, and its what Guida does against competition that better than him(I.E Laying on top of Pettis). Only time Guida is exciting is when he is getting beat up (I.E Sanchez, Henderson, Florian). Condit engaged, landed and moved to reset, Guida literally ran, and then threw a punch in no man's lands that missed by a long shot. It is quite clear Greg jackson's fingerprints are all over this fight.

Well he was.

Gray had every right to be pissed.

In defense of Guida, he really did outpoint Gray in the first couple rounds. And I even had him winning round 4 due to Maynard dropping his hands and taking those shots. As a whole, I could give it to Maynard, but round by round no way. Yet another fight for the all-american wrestler W/O A SINGLE TAKEDOWN.

The only round I gave Maynard cleanly was round 5. But I'm still disappointed that Guida didn't eventually make a move. I was expecting an ending more like his fight with Bendo.
