I have gone against Kampmann twice in my picks and he has pulled off an upset twice so time to give him a shot I guess.

Wow, I'm surprised Kamp is getting so much love.

I always pick him but he always seems to be the underdog, good to see him as favorite for a change.

That said, Hendricks by UD.

I kid, i kid...

Kamp by sub via Hendricks getting sloppy in the later rounds.

Awesome. Kampman isn't the underdog anymore. Not after he finished Ellenberger and Alvez. He has improved tremendously.

Kampmann needs to not get hit as much in this fight.  I think hendricks hits harder but not as cleanly so assuming martin can avoid getting hit a lot to wake up as he puts it he should win.  That said it only takes hendricks one.

Agreed with everything @Dan is saying^^, Kampy takes to much damage if he can avoid the big left hand in the first or however recover again after getting punched almost senseless, I have him winning again.

Even though he beat my favorite fighter :( I've always been a HUGE Hendricks fan and want to see him get the win here.  I really like both guys though, neither of them mess around and wait to fight, they'll fight whoever and whenever.

BIG fan of both guys, but Kampmann I feel is going to play a technical game and outbox Hendricks. Honestly it kind of tears me apart having 2 of my favorite fighters in the division fighting each other (Condit and Silva are my 2 other favs) and it sucks because I've known for a long time all 4 of these guys will be fighting each other in the coming years.

I think Kampmann's experience is going to play a huge role in this fight.

@wish I feel your pain.  It was so hard to see Hendricks/Kos fight and KZ/Poirier fight.  Also Pearson/Swanson are two of my all-time favorites :(
The good thing is though, all of them were/will be amazing fights.

Prediction: wrong Kampmann   wrong Decision

One of the best qualities of Kampmann is that he never loses heart or his composure when he's behind.  He stays calm, awaits his opportunities, and continues to fight strategicly.

I predict that Hendricks, though touted for his wrestling, will go the way of Koscheck.  Now that he's discovered that striking is so much less exhausting than wrestling, he'll normally opt to keep the fight standing & hope to land a big hand.  I doubt if Kampmann will have anything to fear about Hendricks shooting on him or trying to get the fight to the ground.  And Hendricks' striking didn't impress me all that much against Kos.

Although I was pleased that Johny beat Kos, deep in my heart I really think that Kos won that scrap.  It was so close to a draw it wasn't even funny.  I rank Kampmann above Koscheck, and Hendricks didn't look all that good against Kos.  He was lucky they gave him the W.  Could easily have went the other way.

Prediction: correct Hendricks   wrong Decision

I'd go with Hendricks but this is very interesting...tough, considering both have good-great chins and power. A decision after 3 rounds is tough because Kampmann could get some kicks going but Hendricks could get the better punching in, and has a good potential to rock the Hitman if he lets his hands go. Hitman has those subs, but with Hendricks's wrestling and the opportunity he has in front of him having beaten Pierce, Fitch and Kos in a row I got Hendricks. (won't be surprised if Kampmann gets it though.)

Prediction: correct Hendricks   correct KO/TKO   correct Round 1

Kampmann's style of getting beaten within inches of his life and then getting the win is hazardous to his health. It won't fly against Hendricks. Not only will Hendricks wrestle him in the clinch and not allow him to strike, but I see him doing to Kampmann what Daley did. Rock him, get him moving back, and then finish him. He lets you know when you have him hurt, and when Hendricks smells blood, he's going to go in for the kill

I'm sorry but I can't pick a guy to win if he's been nearly killed in his past two fights. Eventually the comebacks gotta end, he just can't keep defying all odds.

If he does it one more time, I'll have no choice but to jump on the Kampmann bandwagon.

Both guys are beasts, I don't see either getting finished.  I have a feeling we're going to see both guys hurt at some point in the fight though.

Thank you Anik. I feel like everybody has been putting Kampmann on a pedestal, when i have not been impressed.
