We use the regular Tapology scoring system, with bonus points. Here they are:
For the regular players:
Winning a UFC event : 250 points
Winning an event : 50 points
*If you're the only one to win the event, you have 50 more points

First place in a weekend contest : 250 points
Second place in a weekend contest : 100 points
Third place in a weekend contest : 50 points


For the Zuffa/Bellator players:
Winning a UFC event : 250 points
Winning a Zuffa/Bellator event : 50 points
*If you're the only one to win the event, you have 50 more points

First place among the Zuffa players in the weekly Zuffa standing : 250 points
Second place among the Zuffa players in the weekly Zuffa standing : 100 points
Third place among the Zuffa players in the weekly Zuffa standing : 50 points

I still maintain that Perfect picks + Decision picks is what really counts. 

i maintain winning events is most important. top ten here i come.

@Messiah, enjoy it while it lasts, dude... I've taken a gamble on a bunch of underdogs this weekend and so far... let's just say that they have not been doing so well (I told myself "go ahead, it's just 50 points", but the -50's are piling up). And I'm not really expecting the tide to turn, but I'm not going to back down now. It's all going to be worth it anyway just to watch Wolfman eat a live octopus after the weekend is over:).

and nobody is over 67% anymore and you have fallen my friend in %. :- } how does third place feel?

everything i said is coming true. its the PR's that will chow down a live octopus, sushi, saki and wasabi.

I'm not sure how everyone else on my team (Team Punk Rock) did but I've had a pretty decent weekend. I have a strong feeling I will be moving up some spots in the rankings this week. I can honestly say that I know I won't ever be top 10 in this contest because I don't do enough research and whatever to be there but I can also say that I will be in the top 25 without a doubt when this is all over at the end of the year. I can deal with that. 

So after reading all this **** for weeks I alway sit and wonder why there is so much hatred for Team Punk Rock. Is it because we dominated the first few weeks? Is it because its Messiahs game? Please, enlighten me...

Some of it is people want to see me fail, the other part is that we were in the lead for like the first 7 weeks and were the only team that made all our picks from the beginning. But if you can get up in the top 25 you'd be our 6th member up there . that's pretty damn good. 

Top 25 for me is only 5 spots Messiah. It WILL happen and it may go even lower who knows. 

I don't doubt you sir, I have faith that you will, flying_frontkick has really stepped up his game the last month or so, if you do as well and climb some more spots, we will get that lead back. 

what a weekend, i lost a full %! i didnt that a movement that large would be possible after +1700 picked fights.  hopefully this is the worst weekend i will ever have.  

@desauce, it's not really hatred, mostly it's jealousy towards us for not only dominating for the first month or two of the contest right off the bat, but also for The Punk Rock Team actually being The Punk Rock Team. I mean we are what we were since the start, I believe except for one guy being cut recently all the guys that were drafted for the team, are on the team, while the others, they may call themselves what the teams were at the beginning (except for "The Tapology Fisters" I guess), but there's 2, maybe 3 members left on most of them and I've lost count of how many desperate changes they've made and how many rules they wanted to change just to get a little lead over us, the true MVP Originals.


Besides when you look at it, most of that "trash talk" comes from AnikM, who admitted that he doesn't bother with researching his picks or thinking too hard about them. Poor guy has to somehow fill in all the time he's spending here typing one of his 9-10 posts per day, specially since so far "you suck" has been the best he was able to come up with. Oh, and associate "suck" with "prostitute", "brothel" and "ass". Truly the work of a genius!


PS. I'm expecting a sad, rather big drop this weekend. I decided to be a gambler and picked a load of underdogs. So far all of them lost costing me, among other ****, the 8 Perfects ribbon from the WMMA card (and the Titty-loving judges cost me another). Anyway, if as a result the team drops and some of those wannabes or johnny-come-latelies happen to pass us, don't hate on me, there's only so much I can do by myself. Plus, I'm already kicking myself enough as it is:).


And with that I'm off to watch WrestleMania... Haven't seen a WWE PPV in a year at least.

@desauce I trash talk Punk Rock for one reason and one reason only. They're ahead of us by one spot. Punk Rock is crashing faster than a Beamer filled with coeds and once we overcome them, I promise the trash talk will be shifted towards the greater enemy...the Wolves.

Maybe then, we can unite as one front against the Were*******, but until then...**** Punk Rock.

@joe kerr great explanation. I'm stoked to be on Team Punk Rock as the official non drafted but there from the start member. I will continue to make my picks weekly and hope to stay with the team until we win this whole mo ****a.
