Where do you place this in the sub of the year?
IMO, it's pretty awesome that Thompson subbed him with a takedown.
It's pretty epic even if you take into consideration that Sapp is tap friendly. He's submitted to strikes before, but never to a takedown.

Looked to me like he was trying to punch Thompson and his hand hit the mat multiple times while he fell back.
Early stoppage.
EDIT: I didn't even know I'd made a best submissions of 2012 list, I'm gonna have to update that thing one of these days. Been a lot that's happened since January.
