Koscheck's stand up really isn't that good. The guy was getting out struck by K-1 Hughes before he landed the uppercut in the clinch. Should have lost to Pierce. Koscheck is going against a wrestler with better pedigree than he has so most likely this is going to be kept standing. If Hendricks can KO Fitch he definitely can KO Koscheck.

Like most I'd like to see Kos lose but I doubt it happens in this fight. Hendricks is tough and talented but so is Kos. Kos is a little more skilled then Hendricks at this point. Unlike Fitch Kos won't be spending his time playing video games and having twitter wars with BJ Penn. He'll be training instead.

If I had not seen the Pierce and Hughes fights, I would have assumed Koscheck would have watched the Fitch fight and would not be allowing a repeat; however, I did see those fights and Koscheck looked AWFUL against Mike Pierce. Every time he was hit he flinched. He was hesitant the entire fight, and seemed almost afraid to commit. He was getting outstruck by Hughes for the first 4 minutes of the fight. He also stated after the GSP fight, that he wasn't going to be all about winning any more, that he just wanted to put on exciting fights for the fans. I believe that's why he hasn't used his wrestling hardly at all in his last 2 fights. Because of that I have to go with Hendricks, due to huge KO power, and the fact that Koscheck has seemed way more hittable in his last fights than ever before.

You guys have to realize the reason for his 'flinching' and not committing is his ****** up eye, he was basically half blind for months while his eye was healing. While that's not an excuse, it's definitely a reason. And for those who argue that Hendricks has better wrestling credentials, that may be true but Koscheck is the WAY more experienced MMA wrestler, as well as more experienced fighter. He'll come in with the better gameplan and get the W.

@Fresno "his ****** up eye" That actually is proving my exact point. He's not the same fighter since the GSP fight. He wasn't that great against Hughes and he looked terrible against Pierce. It's not to say that he's a bad fighter, just that I think his best fights are behind him, and the rest of his career will not be as high profile as his previous accomplishments.

I haven't been an MMA fan for too long so I've never had to deal with the inevitable decline of a favorite fighter, so it's pretty sad to see my favorite fighter ever look bad and be criticized for it. If he beats Hendricks I will literally shed a tear.
That being said, I think Koscheck still has a few more fights in him, he's in great shape all the time and can still compete at a high level.

Kos is 2-0 since the GSP fight. He KO'd Hughes and won a decision over a very tough fighter in Pierce. He hasn't looked perfect doing it but he still won.
