"ACL surgeries can take a lot out of you. They say you truly don't recover after those. I've had friends who have had those and they say they're not the same so hopefully it equals out the playing field and we can get another crack at Georges." -Koscheck

this just makes me laugh

Also, he's like 50/50 in the video. He sounds like a **** at some points but then cool after he says he wished GSP would never come back, saying he would like to "kick it" with him and ****. I dont like Koscheck but I really cant figure him out either.

I think Kos respects GSP a lot and said it sarcastically when saying he hopes Georges doesn't come back. It's not really something to joke about but Kos doesn't have much of a sensor. I just remember after their last fight Kos was very gracious in defeat and called GSP the best.

Josh saying he hopes GSP would never recover is a way for Josh to compliment GSP and still sound like a ****. I'm sure Josh believes GSP is the only guy at 170 he has little to no chance of beating. I would put him almost even money or the favorite over almost any other WW. So GSP never recovering gives Josh a champ to be champion.

Kos is awesome.  Some of the stuff he says is very blunt but he says what everyone is thinking.  A lot of people in the division would breath a sigh of relief if GSP retired, it's not that he wants him to be devastated by injury it would just make the title run seem like a better shot.

@niklust, i think you're right. there's no font for humor, so i'm guessing he said it in more of a complementary way as you pointed out. if he isn't however, **** move.

With the added differance that Florian is actually likeable. Kos makes OJ look nice.

Dumb thing to say, but it says a lot about just how dominant GSP is.  Classic Kos, not surprised.

Kos might be the only one saying it but I know the top guys at ww want it too, as long as GSP is around nobody has a chance at being champion, without him in the picture guys like Kos, Fitch, Diaz, Ellenburger, and Condit have a chance to be champion
