Shamidkhan Magomedov, SUB, R2
Magomedov seems a little fraudulent to me but he is a dagi wrestler with decent bjj. Smyth got an all time comeback ko last fight & since it was quick it’s hard to gauge how much he’s improved, but I was not impressed when he was active. I doubt lightnig strikes twice but I do get fraud vibes from Shamidkhan
Clark vs. Lopes

Clark is the smart play but I think Lopes might be legit. It’s hard to gauge cuz she hasn’t fought anyone yet but clearly someone knows something if she’s getting this opportunity. Clarke looked very good against repp so I’m hesitant to pick against her but I will go lopes here
Taylor vs. Thimoteo

Not being able to finish big tuna is a huge red flag. Taylor is getting a layup tho so I imagine he should win with little effort, but still taking big tuna to decision is not a good look
Akhtamov vs. Bianchini

I need to watch tape on this blanchini guy before settling on a pick. These chute boxer guys with unassuming records are always the scariest guys on the regional scene (you don’t know what you’re getting until they fight). Akhtamov slept that dude badly in his debut but hard to gauge how good he is. I’ll pick him for now but may change once I watch tape
Kinzig vs. Freeman

I was not impressed with how freeman looked taking a punch last fight, but he fought a decent fighter & Imo won the fight. Either way it’s good experience. He can wrestle pretty well for hw which is rare. This other guy is huge but untested, I’ll take freeman for the upset. I don’t like that he really should be at 205 but being the smaller guy will help with wrestling
Dinwoodie vs. Chase

Good fight. I don’t like the layoff for chase but she is insanely young. She looked very good when she was active so I’m expecting a lot of improvements
Baiyina vs. Francischinelli
Luis Francischinelli, TKO, R1
Francischinelli is very interesting. He was a kickboxing champ in WGP and is 6”6 with an 84 inch reach at middleweight. I’m gonna assume he has a sus chin and poor grappling but I don’t think we will see much of that here. Seems like he should spark this guy easy
Khabalaev vs. Plazinskiy

Sus comp and a layoff is concerning but I see a Russian at LAW MMA & I am definitely interested. Lets see how time at a legit gym has this guy looking
