Amirkhani vs. Machaev

Amirkhani at 155 is interesting for a few reasons. For one, he will be cutting less weight, so maybe the cardio improves (doubt it). Secondly, he can take all the steroids he wants here, so maybe he gets on EPO and some tren. This is a big test for machaev, he’s looked great but now it’s time to face a really solid ufc vet. Machaev is a wrestler first and has good kickboxing skills. I expect him to lose round 1, as is customary with every makwan fight. And then pour it on in the later rounds when makwan death gasses. Could totally see an upset here but I think machaev will weather the early storm and ko a gasses makwan

I really wanna pick lengal since Torres has done nothing impressive other than the fluke ko of parnasse. Iirc lengal almost beat bark last fight, so he’s not awful. Gotta go with Torres here off of experience but he is really disappointing to me. At least he can juice in oktagon now
Wanliss vs. Siraj

Siraj had an insane upset in ksw, I really thought that dagi was going to smoke him. Still not sure he’s really that good though. I like wanliss a lot, he’s a physical specimen and huge for the weight class. We saw against Alfie Davis that he loses to more technical guys who can defend his takedowns, but I don’t think he will struggle with that here. Big ground advantage for wanliss so I will take him
Na***a vs. Bogdanović
Hafeni Na***a, SUB, R2
This is one of the best fights on the card. Na***a has looked amazing thus far but is relatively untested. His grappling looks super high level but we haven’t seen much of his striking and he hasn’t fought anyone who can grapple. Now, I know Predrag has a padded record; he lost his 0 to will brooks and looked ******* awful in the process. Gassed out after 1, didn’t land anything significant on the feet, and got badly outgrappled. However, he does have much more experience and has fought better people than na***a. I’m not sold on Predrag but I think he is the rightful favorite. I will go out on a limb and take the hit new prospect
Paradeiser vs. Korkmaz

This is a really interesting one. I don’t rate korkmaz that highly but he has looked very good in his last two. Paradieser is cool and I rate him highly, but he struggled with old buchinger a lot more than I thought. Hopefully he doesn’t have a low iq moment here as I think he is better everywhere and the size difference will give korkmaz a lot of issues

Not sure how to feel about this one but neale looks like he will take the fight to the ground, not sure this kickboxer is good at mma

Ponet is better than his record but he has some of the worst sub defense I’ve ever seen; teetering on Jesse Taylor levels of bad. Luckily for him, Oktagon has found a guy with just as bad of a ground game

Torres doesnt deserve to be 1.25 IMO
He just got knocked out and the fight before that he lost a UD to Flores (popped juice/overturn) but still...
