Rojo vs. Linhares
Maike Linhares, SUB, R2
I thought rojo had lowkey a hard fight originally with Richardson, but now he’s getting an even harder one. Linhares is a super under the radar prospect. He has a ton of experience & is well rounded everywhere. He scored a huge upset against Andre Harrison (fight was really boring tho) and hasn’t fought since. I imagine with a win over a former ufc guy the ufc will be looking at him. Rojo is a fun brawler but nothing more. He has gone life or death with some very bad fighters and is just sloppy overall. Gets chinned all the time, punching bag, not technical, poor gas tank, and really bad grappling too. I think linhares is live for a sub as well
Borrego vs. Vigil
Zack Borrego, TKO, R1
Borrego isn’t very impressive to me but I think he takes this. Vigil has a good record but it’s mostly cans. Also he’s much older than Borrego
Yannis vs. Miller
Mo Miller, TKO, R2
Miller is so frustrating. He has all the tools to be really successful but has messed up a lot since dwcs. His striking is solid & he is an incredible wrestler, but his bjj is terrible. Luckily, his opponent this time is a striker with 0 subs so he should dominate here. I’m still holding out hope he can get to the ufc, but he is 30 and those losses are not aging well either
Steele vs. Whitehead

Still waiting for Steele to get that highlight reel finish to boost his name, but he is a really promising guy. Really high level bjj but also has hands. As an amateur he was sleeping people left and right. He is still learning mma tho so this is a good fight for him

Jones vs. Smith

Jacobe smith is really promising but still really green. He finally fought someone who could resist his aggressiveness & showed he’s still gnot a lot to work in. He did switch to fortis mma which I think is a good choice so hopefully saif can make him a better fighter. Jones is a tough vet who’s fought a lot of solid comp. However I think Jacobe can break him. His wrestling is very good. He just has to be careful not to go ape**** early on
