@theproishiphop to be honest, I don’t think Oban will garner long amounts of control time with takedowns because he doesn’t prioritize control once he’s on top, he just hammers with some ground and pound usually before the other guy can get back up.

It’s hard to tell because for most of his career he’s been going against guys with very poor ground games, but Oban actually has some pretty good wrestling fundamentals and utilizes traditional wrestling takedowns pretty well. I don’t think he’ll be controlling Brito for tons of time, but Brito seems susceptible to gassing if he’s forced to constantly be defending takedowns and grappling.

It’s honestly a terrific fight, best one on the card imo

Robbie vs Luis - Fight doesn't go the distance.

After watching 3 fights of Robbie.. there's no way my brain lets me bet on it. His wins aren't coming impressive at all. He's very green. He was getting taken down and punched with ease by a 0-0 fighter. Jacob Kilburn was even piecing him up and almost subbed him twice. If Luis would clean his stand up a tiny bit. His boxing would be nasty. I love his left hooks to the body and his 1-2 follow up combo to the head. He just sometimes over throws. I do think he will land and put Robbie out. Just looks like a lot of Robbie's wins come by a mistake made by the opponent. Not by him being good. He's also on the smaller side for a 45er. He even said he could make 135 with ease. Idk. This is a coin flip. Either Luis by TKO or Robbie by sub.
