Cartwright had a disappointing showing on DWCS.  No doubt.  But I think it is another example of two things.  First, I think there are a ton of phenomenal grapplers in the UK.  But the wrestling, and I mean no disrespect, just isn't that good in the UK.  It's not.  I think if some of these guys came over to the US and learned earlier or trained in other parts of the world or had guys from Russia, USA, some countries in the Middle East, etc... come to England/Wales/Scotland/Ireland and so on, it would really help the scene.  But watching Cage Warriors and seeing how sloppy the wrestling is in fights... it is a shame.  Because a lot of the BJJ is very much on point.  It's just the stuff that happens on the ground that leaves a bit to be desired.  To not be able to rag doll Jose Johnson is a bit alarming.

The other aspect that I think people forget on DWCS with a guy like Cartwright is that first fight across the pond.  It seems to be a real tough task for a lot of fighters to make that trek overseas.  Especially for the first time.  We have seen that happen so many times.  So, I would like to see Cartwright do it again in the US and see if the travel is what played a part in his lack of success.

The UFC needs to allow fighters to rap on a live mic during walk outs like that fighter did! I mean, buddy did get knocked the **** out moments later but still! 
Between that and those crazy half dressed ladies hanging and flipping around upside down using just bed sheets during that Rizin card earlier today.. The UFC is WAYS behind in the flare department!

Cartwright is dirty for breaking dude's arm when he clearly felt a tap. Nice move though, tailor-made matchup and short notice. He will never sniff the UFC again IMO
