I hope that aswell... I am realistically skeptical, many promotions have come and gone, its a rough trade, but PFL is number 1 for MMA for me, I know its easier said than done everyone is motivated to win the million, but nothing beats putting in the 4 performances of your life (and 1 or 2 to qualify for the main league for some) and you win the grand prize becoming a millionaire. I am pretty sure I remember hearing some people grind away for years even in UFC but still dont get close to made financially... Yeah well if it all stops tomorrow it was great work by PFL, they changed fighters lives for the better, even finalists get a pretty nice payday, so yeah great work by them I think they will always be my favorite promotion, just because of the sick prize/generosity and its every year, most big promotions will do a million dollar tournament once every few years or once ever, if even that.... Nothing beats a million dollar prize for me

I don't think the UFC would ever try anything like this. That is what may hurt the PFL.  If they did, they wouldn't be able to give guys like McGregor, Paddy and whatever person they want to get a title shot.  There would be a good chance the person would lose in the format they have. There would be no way to duck certain fighters if everyone is healthy.
