I appreciate that everyone has their own internal criteria for ranking.  I also understand that mine is often quite different from the norm.

I'm interested in hearing what criteria people use... more specifically, what kind of criteria you use that wouldn't put Seika Izawa at number 1... or in some cases, not even on your list at all.

Dude you are correct

I Have a soft sport for atomweight and JMMA. Despite my comments about how bad wmma can be. But most people just copy the consensus ranking for a top 10-25 and dont even consider peoples records, who they beat, how good are they or at bare minimum have they even fought in the last 5 years. Most peoples lists are horrid and out of date. the fact DeCoursey is not regularly active, has a bad record and just lost to Rayanne and is number one, Whilst Izawa is undefeated and already beating the who is who of Atom WMMA sometimes twice and is not 1 is insane. My list and yours are the two most accurate there is some difference in the fact i have yet to rate Palacios and a lot of the western atoms highly yet due to talent being so low. But peoples lists at least the top 10 should look something similar to ours.
