Defintely. I don’t believe mvp was the first choice (hence why the weight was in question), but they needed someone to fight Garry. Garry is also there for the mcgregor connection, and because he has been trying to grow himself in the US (I actually don’t believe he’s fought outside the U.S. yet). They’ve been trying to groom him as the next big Irish star so they probably couldn’t pass up the chance to put him on the same card as Conor

I'm pretty excited for MVP v Garry even though it might be a slow fight if they both just focus on defense. It's a good test for both.

Yeah Im hyped, I think it will be a very competitive high-level, and technical fight, where the winner enters title conversation. Welterweight division looking pretty good right now, does anyone know if the JDM vs Shavkat fight rumours are true?

@el_guapo Ochoa has been around South America as well. He used to train at entram and moved to chute boxe recently. He is a savage

I haven’t seen Jack Duffy fight but I’ve heard really good things about him from a lot of people. He’s a really good grappler apparently; should be a great fight

kind of random but is Jose Medina hurt? I think he was the most surprising signing of DWCS last year aside from Carli Judice but I am wondering why he hasn't been signed to a fight yet

I assumed the delay was because he had been undergoing a crash-course in proper full time MMA training for the first time in his career in anticipation of a UFC debut, but maybe he is hurt,

Chris Prisnell from MMA Ecosystem said that the semi finals if RtU will be in China but not Shanghai ( Which uis where the PI is) so that tracks for a potential Chinese card. He also says he can't 100% confirm though. It's worth noting that I think UFC is still obligated to give Singapore a card this year too.

Yeah Singapore was what I originally thought when song made that tweet (and yes, ufc is contracted to give them a card per year). I feel like that is more likely, but would be cool if we get both a Singapore and a China card

Worth mentioning I don’t know how long the deal is, so it’s possible a China card replaces Singapore this year
