Frevola tweeted that he has a fight booked and that "sometimes you gotta make your idols your rivals".

If I'm reading the tea leaves correctly here, it sounds like he might be fighting Jared Gordon. If im not mistaken, the two of them are from the same area.

He verbally agreed to fight elves brener for 301 but that doesn’t fit the profile of one of his idols. I imagine it’s an older vet if that’s the case

The only other person I could think of was Michael Johnson, but I have a feeling its Gordon.

I'm personally bummed it's not Brenner because that's just a bonkers fight, but truthfully every Frevola fight is exciting so can't complain.

That was the only other name I could come up and certainly fits the bill of an "idol" for Frevola. I personally think that's a bit of a mismatch with the stage each guy is at in their career but it's still a great scrap.

Nah I think it’s pretty even. I love Frevola but he loves to get into a war. Mj is pretty washed but I’d say his boxing is more technical than frevola’s. Then again, not sure his chin can handle a clean punch from frevola

Why St. Louis? Not that I have a problem with it but we complain all the time about Apex cards, we find out they want to do events where the hist pays to have them come like in Saudi Arabia, and now a random US city? Unless they are finally getting back on the road properly.

Ufc only goes to places that pay a site fee, so I assume Missouri wanted the ufc to come there. Also they went to Kansas City last year so it must be a yearly thing now

I don’t think it’s that random, it is a U.S. based promotion after all

They're not going to go to random cities like in the past unfortunately. Won't see a fight night Prague anytime soon unless they get like double Czech champions maybe. I mean they don't even go to China these days (I know they tried once in 2023).
Saudi Arabia is different because their sportswashing program operates on a loss so they can offer a great deal for the UFC (and other sports) to go there.
