I think this will be his retirement fight. Usually when a fighter can’t decide on weight class it means they don’t really know what they want out of their career. RDA said repeatedly that he was never going back to 155 so this decision is very confusing. Even more confusing is why he’s facing a top 5 guy after losing a decision to a 170 gatekeeper

Also to your comment about Suarez vs lemos, I think this will just be a repeat of lemos’s last fight. Weili ragdolled her and Suarez is a much better wrestler than Weili. If she couldn’t deal with weili’s takedowns then the repeated chain wrestling of Suarez is going to give her a ton of issues

thats true but I dont trust Suarez's physical strength as much, she looked weird vs Andrade too, even if it was dominant.

Yeah she’s definitely lost a little bit of her physical prime since coming back from the layoff but she’s also added new tools to her game. Her bjj is pretty crazy now and that will only help her already very good wrestling

Yet another fight; Nora cornolle is out of her March 23rd fight due to medical issues (idk what they are but it must be serious if she’s pulling out this early), Dariya zeleznekovia is stepping in to fight Montserrat rendon on that date

Roster watch has announced the following 4 fighters have been cut

If Poirier Tsarukyan doesn't get booked it's a joke. Him and Chandler just sitting on their rankings refusing to fight anyone below them and constantly demanding title shots. Was hoping for gamrot poirier but i guess RDA's just a sacrificial lamb at this point. But who cares about advancing the decision, i want to see poirier chandler 2, then the winner fights mcgregor, then the loser fights mcgregor, then they do a triple threat hell in the cell match. Oh Tsarukyan and Gamrot? Just make them fight top 15 guys, if they beat all of them make them fight eachother again.

Possible it’s just a glitch but the ufc site is no longer listing Sean vs chito as the main event of ufc 299, instead TBA vs TBA is listed. Again, could be a glitch but it could also mean we are getting a different main event. I really doubt ufc will pass on having Sean headline another ppv but if they find a bigger fight I suppose it’s possible

Dana said in an interview with tnt sports that despite being booked in January, Jim miller has a spot secured on ufc 300 and will get a fight as long as he is good to go (which he should be - Benitez is not the fighter he used to be)

He also said ufc 300 is going to be mind blowing and the reaction from when you see the first fight is “why the hell was this the first fight these guys should be on the main card”. Of course, that remains to be actually seen but given how good 299 and 298 look I imagine the ufc is going to go all out
