It's certainly his most favorable match up in the top 10 and a nice, gentle step up from Tim Elliott.  Should still be a good test for Mokaev though as Perez has a lot of fights and fought better names.

I’m not sure if they’re a reliable source or not but blackbeltmma on instagram said thug nasty is stepping in to face josh emmett. Not sure how true that is but it would make sense rankings wise so im cool with it

I can’t find anything confirming it but I’m seeing a rumor that Michael morales is fighting Michael chiesa at ufc 298. Brutal last fight for chiesa if true

Also Bendaman said there’s a possibility JDM vs burns is on 298 but it’s still up in the air; will be on one of those two cards tho

In last few days Nyamjargal posted some pictures with ufc and roadtoufc tags on his ig. Now he posted some kind of training footage including picture with ufc belt and gloves and put some ⏰⏰⏰ emojis. Seems like he’s hinting

rakic hints that blachowicz has pulled out of their fight at UFC 297. He calls out jiri as a replacement which I doubt will happen, best bets are: oezdemir, krylov or smith-rountree winner should they not take too much damage

His abrupt pullout of his fight only weeks after it getting announced makes me think he got flagged by usada or something. The reason for his pullout was never announced and he never showed any photos in a cast on ig so he didn’t have surgery. There’s no way he would duck someone as bad as jake collier so there’s some other reason 

Valter is a fun fighter but he is god awful. Only at 11-0 because his manager was getting him favorable matchups against cans. His last fight he went life and death with alex Nicholson and only won after landing a takedown and Nicholson simply just said he was done

TUF 32 casting has started today. This season will be 145ers and 185ers. Likely going to be a bunch of cans with forced beef between the coaches but who knows, maybe the winner will turn out to be good. No information on who the coaches are (can’t think of any big fights to make either) but I’m sure it will get announced early next year
