It's crazy to think about how green Francis Marshall was when he first got onto DWCS, but he's going to have his 9th fight now. I would pick Dulgarian, but he has not fought in a year and a half while Marshall will be on his 3rd UFC fight (4th if you count DWCS). I think this fight is going to really determine whether Marshall is worthy to be in the UFC or if he got signed too early

Yeah I’m gonna call cap on that 178 lb belt thing. Dana explicitly says he doesn’t book catchweight fights (when they’re not  short notice fights). He said it’s either going to be at 170 or 185. Also, why would it be for the belt? Neither is a champion 

Pretty sure that was a joke or Khazmat put all 10 iq points together trying to materialize a belt he could win.

Yeah Khamzat just isn't a WW and him fighting Usman makes no sense. I actually think Vettori is a good opponent for Khamzat win or lose vs Cannonier. I think the UFC is probably waiting to see if Aliskerov can beat Costa before thinking about doing anything with Khamzat and Usman, which would have to happen at 185 if it's going to happen at all.

I think the UFC would book a rematch between Aliskerov and Khamzat in a heartbeat. 

Oh easily, that’s the whole reason they’re pushing Ikram. If he keeps winning, it only makes Khamzat look better & builds towards the rematch. That could end up being a huge fight

as much as I would love a rematch between those 2 I just don't know if the UFC would give Khamzat such a high risk/low reward fight yk? at least not until Ikram is more established

It's actually a real YouTube video on the 178lbs title. But the guy isn't credible. It's all speculation and he pulled that weight class out of his ass. That would be the last weight ufc would make a division. 

Please watch the video on the Fights with Friends YouTube channel before you assume that I am being a troll.

I did watch the video. As I said before it's speculation. The channel is literally this guy recording his thoughts on what he wants to happen and not any actually verifiable information.

I never said you were being a troll I’m just saying some random YouTubers spewing nonsense isn’t news 

If it was a coach or ufc insider saying that, then it would make sense

Amanda Nunes and Charles Oliveira currently highest paid fighters at UFC 289 as per reports both fighters earn $1m guaranteed on fight day. Irene Aldana who is looking for the opportunity to become the bantamweight title winner will earn guaranteed $350k. Beneil Dariush earn guaranteed $350k and his overall earnings exceed $500k payouts based on sponsorship, ufc bonus and pay-per-view money. 

wow Aldana taking home six figures?? for that kind of performance, she basically robbed them 

I mean if the UFC was ran like boxing, Aldana would've walked away with at least a million. I honestly have no problem with her getting 800k to fight the greatest women's MMA fighter of all time. If anything, I feel like she was a little underpaid, but I guess they did not sell enough to get that much money

she deserves a mcdonalds biscuit and that's pushing it

UFC really only has 585 fighters on their roster right now. That has to be the lowest in like 4 years. It sounds like Dana is going to be like Oprah on DWCS series this year. I guess we get to see some more bums get knocked tf out and cut after 3 fights again

Well you are damn right. I guess the main reason is that they fight for 12K + 12K contract. I expect about 45 dwcs signings this year. Also we will get 4 fighters from TUF and 4-8 from RTU. There are 23 fighters who are signed but still waiting for their debut. Lazy king not included yet.

After being rumored for a few weeks, oban elliott vs Kaik Brito is official for dwcs
