Which do you think is the all around best MMA site. Feel free to add other MMA sites in the question

I switched from Sherdog as a plat member to Tapology and i highly doubt i'll go back to sherdog unless i need to look up records or read articles. this website has way better people to talk to when it comes to MMA.

This website has people who actually know what theyre talking about when it comes to MMA. When I go on Sherdog and try to have a legit MMA convo I cant because the people on there dont know what they are talking about!

The strengths of each website is completely different.  Sherdog as a media outlet is great where as Tapology as a community is fantastic.  I could elaborate/site examples, but I'm sure you all understand what I mean.

even in the Plats i'm somewhat questioning if some of them know what they are talking about. the majority do but still kinda wonder. If you dont know what the plats is then it's where you pay 30 a year to blog with no adds and have your own platinum fourm to post in so random trolls can't just come in blow up your stuff.

Yes tapology is legit. You can see our picks/percentages in conjunction w our posting, you learn a lot of us on here really have a wealth of international, largely unbiased mma knowledge. We pick w our brains instead of our heart, most of the time haha. When i bet $$ on mma i consult a few of your picks, would never do that on sherdog forums haha. the numbers don't lie :)   ………."I love you guys……No man, I really really love you guys man!!" -Wayne's World?

I joined sheepdog in 07, had been reading it since 05, haven't posted since before i found tapology except for a post about joining tapology.  I think that say it.  Also to have literally 10 times the forum posts on tapology in a third of the time i think i know what i prefer.

I still click on the articles there and often even lurk the forums but i wouldn't want to talk to the majority of members on there.  In comparision i can't think of any member on here (including the ones i don't always get along with) that i would hesitate grabbing a beer with.  Well assuming age restrictions didn't apply because i know we got some young guys here too.

Like previously said Sherdog is still good for media and researching fighters but Tapology is better for discussion and the whole fight picker is a huge plus.

Hard to believe this is a serious question.  I would image Tapology is a safe haven and refuge for Sherdog survivors.

Sherdog is unfit for adult MMA discussion.  It might feel alright if one is a hopeless internet troll, enjoys profanity, f-bombs, insults, personal attacks, bullying, hate speech, obscene images, & shorthand internet notation instead of literate English discussion.  Weening oneself off of such a site is like curbing a bad habit like smoking.  Whatever information one finds there is readily available everywhere else.  So why bother visiting such a gutter?

Tapology might have a one or two members with latent Sherdog tendencies, but they are at least capable of adult discussion most of the time.

Plus Tapology has excellent Moderating in Gregory and Jeremy, for the most part.

UFC.com is a pretty good MMA discussion site, but is still plagued with internet trolls and adolescent lack of internet etiquette.

Thats another thing, the mods here are fair and reasonable. They are all about improving the site and not banning people with different opinions
