Any thoughts on why no other sites have jumped on this? Success normally breeds imitation, which is the sincerest form of flattery.

for example, cagepotato.com introduced their fight picker about 2 years ago but it didn't work very well. they shut it down. same thing goes for UFC.com and their fantasy game - they shut it down. i don't know if it's permanently shut down or if they will try again.
sherdog recently introduced a pick 'em feature, but they didn't build it themselves. they paid FightMetric to run the system for them. that's good, because FightMetric does a good job and has some expertise in this. had sherdog tried to build it on their own, it probably wouldn't work very well. there's a lot of things that sherdog is good at, but engineering/programming is not one of them.

But sherdog and tap are two different types of websites with different reasons for people bieng there. Sherdog is news based with a huge ass forum this is a place to pick fights with a decent sized forum.
