I think Anheliger defeated a high level opponent and he's not a young guy. Might as well give him his run. I would've given him the contract too. But I don't think Oliveira deserved it.

I really try to avoid picking winners on DWCS unless I'm REALLY convinced because it's a highly motivated contest.

I hit all my bets:

Chidi/Sousa not to go the distance, Gafurov/Anheliger over 2.5.

Anheliger vs Garufov wasn't fun at all and yes he won by outcardioing him, but there's a reason he survived and won. I think its harder to make fights look good when you're fighting against tough opponents. That's why you see so many DWCS fighters who gets splendid finishes lose their debut in the UFC, because having a nice looking win over a low level opponent doesn't do anything. However I understand that is the format of the show, but if I had to pick between Saimon or Anheliger, Saimon looked bad, and his opponent wasn't high level, it was a fun fight don't get wrong. But if he doesn't fix those holes in his game. He's going to be out of the UFC in 2 years.

Anheliger is a great story. To go from having a 2-5 record, to UFC contract is a great accomplishment. 8 wins in a row. His last fight he beat the TUF finalist. Well earned ticket to the big show.

I disagree, it was a great and excellent fight. Oliveira proved to be a fun fighter, as fans why wouldn’t we wanna see fun fighters in the ufc?

Even though I hit 3 out of 5, thank God I did not bet on this card. It would have been a **** show with Korea in all of my parlays.

I would have had to do parlays because I don't have any bookie that offers prop or round bets for Contender Series fights.

One thing I don't like about the contender series is that there signing guys who shouldn't be in the UFC. UFC should be the best of the best. Half the fighter who win contract shouldn't be in the UFC. It pain me to think of the people they gonna cut because they’re expensive, so they can have 10k 10k fighters that won’t get 5 fights in before getting cut for nit being good.

UFC should only sign 2-3 people, Maybe 4 if it a great week. Bantamweight is a shark tank of talent which is Also have maybe 30-40 fighter I rate very highly. They don’t need them unless they gonna give guys easy wins
