Keita Obara, TKO, R10
I think this is just a case of whether or not Shoki Sakai's chin will hold up for all 12 rounds. He's got a solid chin as he hasn't been KO'd yet but Keita Obara carries a lot of power and that combined with the fact that he's defending his title makes me think that we might see a KO in this one.
***ui vs. Hosaka
Kanta ***ui, DEC
Go Hosaka hasn't really been tested yet in his career whereas Kanta ***ui has beaten some decent boxers despite having a 7-3-1 record. This is why it is so important to look over WHO they have beaten rather than just looking at their records when it comes to picking the Japanese cards.
Akaiwa vs. Fujita
Shun Akaiwa, DEC
This is a closer fight than it looks on paper and both could win but again, I think that Shun Akaiwa has the more impressive record despite having a "worst looking" record at a glance.

Shoki Sakai, TKO, R11
Do not let Sakai record fool you into thinking he is a bum. He is not! He's actually an interesting character. Very rare for a Japanese boxer, he began his career in Mexico, his 1st 25 fights took place in Mexico, mainly Tijuana, a very tough scene, especially as a Japanese! Then he started to appear on US shows, testing a few of Golden Boy and Mayweathers top prospects, he usually lost, never stopped and he beat a few too! He only had his 1st fights on Japanese soil last year! Where he has picked up 2 wins in a row against regional level guys. Obara is the Japanese Champion, he is decent. Has had a few attempts at World level, losing them all, usually by stoppage! He's kinda a kill or be killed guy. I highly doubt Sakai gets finished, though possible, so this likely goes the distance, where Sakai is going to be stronger. I think this is Obara early, Sakai late. Does Obara do enough early or can Sakai come on strong late?? Gimme the underdog!!!
Akaiwa vs. Fujita
Yasutaka Fujita, TKO, R2
This isn't going the distance!
