When has Jiri chosen an easy path? He said he thinks with a proper nutritionist he could safely make the weight, and if he can he wants to test himself there after he gets the 205 belt back. If anything, he's moving down because there's a deeper pool of dangerous people to fight

Jiri is a absolute animal. Watched all his fights in Rizen and UFC. You can not help but to love his fights. He goes full CTE and doesnt know the meaning of easier path. I think he would be more effective and LHW without the weight cut, and i want to watch him at full cardio and health.

Nothing like sitting at home waiting for a crew coming to do work in your apartment "sometime between 8 AM and 4 PM".

Aaand they're done. 5 minutes work after 5 hours thumb rolling waiting to be able to go sleep. Sometimes I wish I owned my own house instead of an apartment, and that I worked a normal dayjob, or both.

To be honest, I'm not a WMMA fight enjoyer (beyond the fact that fighters like Jessica Andrade, Claudia Gadelha, Zhang Weili have very entertaining fights and fighters like Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Valentina Shevchenko are really good at the technical level) but I don't belong to the people who only want men's fights in UFC.

But, I don't see the point of ring girls and the ring walk on camera.
I understand that the Ring Girls are ambassadors of promotion and that is why they earn more than many fighters on the roster. In addition to the Ring Walk, they participate in promotional events and calendar photoshoots, etc. So they will obviously earn more money than unranked fighters who are not usually very active during the year or who do not usually have winning streaks.

You can't say things like this, because otherwise you can be labeled as Sexist, ****sexual or Khabib Fanboy. But when I watch a UFC fight I'm not at all interested in seeing a girl with a sign, I want to see the fighters fighting!
Obviously the majority of MMA fans are men from the age of 14 and during adolescence it is normal for teenagers to be so impressed with good-looking women. But seeing older men acting the same way is really stupid.
Beyond eliminating the ring girls, I preferred a home theater type camera that is octagon level and in the corner side between rounds even though you have to pay extra to have this panoramic views.

@Amettpcx, i agree with all your points. I will just add that Ring Girls are a original and classic part of combat sports in general. It relates mostly to the male audience. Also, just lets say it, they relate to the lowest and dumbest part of the group of fans/society. But......... they pay the tickets, buy the pay per views and would be absolutely outraged if they were taken away.

So the UFC has to keep them around, to keep the masses of idiots happy. The backlash is not worth removing them. In my humble opinion.

ill just add, a part of me would miss them. Not because they are pretty half naked girls walking around, but because they were such a big part of the sport for so long. And it was part of the experience for so long.

I personally don’t care about the ring girls one way or another, but I agree with xcon. Yeah, it’s stupid but it’s also a tradition that’s been around for as long as combat sports have been a thing; would be very strange if they just up and removed it on a whim

I mean I don't think most of them are complaining. You see many of them stick around well into their 30s so they must be compensated well. A lot of UFC's current ring girls have been with the company a very long time, you can't complain that the UFC is being callous in letting go of older women to bring in younger ones so there seems to be some level of job security as long as they take care of their appearance. It's a pretty cushy job from outside appearances. Certainly less demanding or demeaning than doing softcore or hardcore **** on Onlyfans.

I've said it before but being a lazy person if I was a woman and good looking I would 100% want to leverage that in some fashion and being a ring girl seems like a pretty sweet deal.

I don't know, maybe it's a stereotype but I don't see housewives being that happy a lot of the time. They're the kind of people I imagine who watches videos like this on The View:

Better to have some purpose in life working with other people than being shut up in a home. Well maybe you could hire help to do all the work in the home but then what? Sit on the couch and watch Netflix all day?
