Let me Start, I find it insane it like 4 days to Chrismas , Im suprise it so close to the end of the Year,  Fells like Junes.Anyone have anything cool plan for Chrissy, I’m probley just gonna mess around at the gym

Teacher is the worst jobs you could get. I have a few friends that are teachers. One makes more money waiting tables at Applebee's than teaching. And she went to school and has a degree in children's education!

Another had a baby, did some math and figured her salary is almost identical to daycare. Guess who's taking a few years break until they are old enough for school.

Kids today are little hood rats raised by hood rat parents. Teachers get little to no money to deal with monsters on a daily routine.

I feel for them completely and whenever I see a wish list for school supplies I am usually over generous. They once asked if parents could include some goldfish for school break time..I donated two mega jumbo boxes to the classroom. Like monstrous boxes. They were so happy

I was a teacher for a few years. I couldn't go back. I need little micro-breaks through the day; a teacher has to be "on" pretty much all the time. 

That, and I honestly don't know a more insufferable bunch of people, truth be told.

I guess where you are a teacher at matters too. My one friend who is a teacher is at literally the worst grade school in the city. Told me some stories of 8 year olds with guns and drugs. 

Maybe a nice private charter school will give you a much different outlook

@Chris, I taught at a school kinda like that. No guns or drugs, but we had one kid who had three different names in two years. Serious behavior issues, but he was getting better the last I knew.

If we're talking about teacher movies, then have any of you seen "To Sir, With Love", starring the late Sidney Poitier? Just thought I'd mention it as I had a Geography teacher from Guyana called Mr. Chapman who was similar to Poitier's character in the movie. One of those few people you meet in your life who have a lasting, positive impact on your life. For a bit of context, teenage Stephen Terry was a ******* egotistical little arsehole. I was doing well in school but all my achievements went straight to my head. I'm still not 100% sure how he did it but the way he managed me as a student really made me realise that the world was a far bigger place than I could possibly comprehend and that if I didn't learn a bit of humility and the ability to self reflect, then I wasn't going to go too far in it. As of today, even though I'm not overly successful in life so far, I've got a steady job and great relationships with my friends and family and I'm certain I'd be doing a whole lot worse if it wasn't for him. I'm far from perfect but I'm a much improved version of the person I once was. 

I know you're never going to see this but I hope you're doing well Mr. Chapman!

Sorry for going a bit off topic but I mean imagine being a Mother and this happens to you, it's not always the parents fault or a lack of care, sometimes it just doesn't make sense. I'm thinking what I would do if I was a teacher and this kid was in my class.
