Looks like Dana has no idea what hes talking about. Not so long ago, after a slap contest in Poland, a guy died due to damage after speding time in coma.

It's not "a couple of slaps", hit in a right spot, your opponent is down. How can he promote a thing that isnt even a sport and that gives you free CTE?

Benny is a way better matchup for Islam than Volk. Volk would get violated on the mat by Islam. If Benny doesn't get the title shot after beating Gamrot than the UFC has no integrity.

Skill for skill Volkanovski is better than Islam in my eyes, but Islam is so much larger than him I don't think Volk would fare well over five rounds. I see him getting badly hurt by Islam's shots and easily controlled. I'd root for Volk but I'm pretty pessimistic about his chances in such a fight. The main reason why the fight will almost certainly be made is money. There are definitely tougher matchups for the new Lightweight champ.
