I went from the Balkan region to the west coast of US in the middle of the desert. I've lived here for a solid like 20ish years and I still do not understand the saying "you'll get used to the heat". I basically went from being a kid and getting used to all 4 seasons, to then basically having summer for 6-8 months, and fall/spring the rest of the time depending on the weather. so my question is, have any of you been able to "get used to the heat" where you live or where you moved to?? maybe a handful of people I've ever spoken to have told me that they were able to get used to it, everyone else pretty much tells me that saying is ******** lol

When folks say "you'll get used to the heat," I think most mean that you will manage your expectations and adapt, not that your body will react significantly differently to the climate. I've lived in the Southeast my entire life and have never gotten used to the worst summer days (so hot and humid you'd think you'd landed on Satan's sweaty ballsack). But my expectations are that the weather will be miserable from mid-May to mid-August and very warm during the day from mid-August to late October.

When left to my own thoughts i think of weird ****. A recurring thought has always been like a king of rats or a ruler. So i made it that, plus i wanted to stick with being a noble or governmental title to fuel my fragile ego. The picture itself was just some **** i found on google. Also don't google rat king, it's a whole different think then king rat.
