Other than O'Neill and Blanchfield I think Manon Fiorot needs to be in the discussion of possible future champions. Its rare to see a wmma fighter that finishes fights like she does.

I really like Paul Felder and for that reason I hope he stays retired. I think he stepped away right as his body was starting to slow down and he would've ended up just taking a beating in subsequent fights. If he does come back they're going to put him up against a top 5 opponent or a dangerous, young prospect, and I don't like his chances against either.

yeah im not really happy hes coming out of retirement, I hate when fighters say they retire and then do the opposite down the road. At least its not because he needs money, its because its something meaningful to him; to fight at ufc Philly. hes in a **** spot too because hes at lightweight and unless they give him someone like Tony, every other prospect is just.... yeah. But on the plus side at least it means ufc Philly is happening and theres so many exciting matchups they can do for that

Tony would be good for Felder.
On recent Polish podcast Mateusz Gamrot said he would like to fight RDA in Brazil, but he is not picking himself his oponents, takes what ufc gives him, and I think he should be tested against either Gregor or Fiziev now.

Fiziev has 95.5 takedown defence, second highest in the ufc so I'd love to see Gamrot - Fiziev

I know hooker called for Ortega after TKZ pulled out of an alleged fight for the two. I think hooker is gonna get beat from pillar to post against anyone he fights at FW but there’s no denying that fight would be exciting. But, it’s not like they would ever book that fight cuz it doesn’t make sense

I’m exaggerating a little bit in saying he gets destroyed against anyone, but he wouldn’t be able to compete with the elite of the divison imo

Ortega is a winnable fight for Hooker imo. Obviously Ortega has the advantage on the ground but from what I've seen at least he's more opportunistic when he take people down or attempts a sub. So I think Hooker can beat him on feet and even his grappling isn't that bad. He literally wrestle****** the guy he fought before Islam plus he would have the size advantage.

Take my opinion with a grain of salt btw. I'm not a striking expert and I'm admittedly really biased towards CKB fighters.

Well you do have a point. I’ve noticed that every Ortega win aside from the TKZ win was a comeback win where he was down in strikes until he found the sub/ko

Yeah if a little confused on where Tony is at rn in terms of a fight. He said news soon a few weeks ago and like 2 weeks ago Gregor gillespie posted a story on Instagram @‘ing tony Ferguson and saying dodging punches like; making me think they are gonna fight but then he’s out here calling out chandler among others so I have no clue what to think about who he fights next

yeah Gregor's been calling out Tony for a while I think same with Fiziev. Chandler and Tony both agreed on Twitter but who knows if it'll actually lead to anything. RDA, Tony, Chandler, and Nate all seem to be waiting on Conor's next move.
