Yep, BoxRec has gone down! That's what they get for blocking @Mikey1903!!!!! (If you haven't heard the story of @Mikey1903 getting blocked by BoxRec, I'll try and find what thread it was on, it's simply the best lol!)

BoxRec seems to up again, maybe they block ip’s after awhile, I dunno.

It started when @PiotrK was ranting about BoxRec and @Mikey1903 said that BoxRec hated him and blocked his IP address as he kept adding loads of fights! When I asked him how he gets his info, he replied:

"Yup!!! Haha!Apparently I add too much fights!  They think I copy everything from them. I was blocked in December, have the fights stopped on Tapology tho??? No, because I spend all my time looking up Polish, Mexican, Japanese, Kazakhstan etc. events, promotions, ranking, websites.
I can't be stopped!!!! Haha"

Long story short, Mikey1903 was too hardcore for BoxRec to handle which I think is ******* hilarious lol!

If this were about 4 years ago, I would've recommended it to one of my mates Andrew who used to BMX but he gave it up after breaking his leg badly in a crash in 2017. I was with him when it happened, there's a fairly steep hill just outside of London called Box Hill and he was riding around and I tagged along as well as even though I didn't ride, I always enjoy hanging out with him. Anyway, I was standing at the top (not the very top but a steep part nonetheless) and he started down but a few seconds later he lost control and his right leg got caught in the frame of the bike and the bike flipped, effectively snapping his leg. That was the most disgusting looking injury I've ever seen and he's got a metal plate in his leg now. He gave up on BMX after that.


Like I said, we weren't right at the top but that's Box Hill just to give you an idea of the sort of decline he was dealing with.

Come on Stephen you never give up on BMX. im 31 and still get out there and **** myself up once or twice a summer. Got hit by a car 2 years ago riding street. (not the first time)
