Let me Start, I find it insane it like 4 days to Chrismas , Im suprise it so close to the end of the Year,  Fells like Junes.Anyone have anything cool plan for Chrissy, I’m probley just gonna mess around at the gym

@Josh, sadly no I don't. But I'll always support the Reem, he was my first introduction to MMA.

From what I heard Rico is one of the best active kickboxers so probably no. Still hoping Alistair can pull it off then retire.

I think Rico is as real as they come, simple but effective striker. Hits the rear inside thigh so perfectly and nobody kicks harder then the King of Kickboxing himself. I think Overeem's time off from kickboxing, age and the fact Rico is very much in his prime will make it a very one sided match. I've been wrong before though.

Feel like UFC was stupid not to offer him a super fight but maybe hes not that big a draw anymore.

Yes Rico is very good seen most his fights, hes been caught but very technical and younger much less damage taken.

@Tieoken I think we're pretty much in agreement. Ivermectin does seem to have some the****utic value based on the literature I've read, but I'll say it again: The jury is still out. That's kind of been my point the entire time, and I'm not advocating that people go out and chug a tube of the **** dosed out for a ******* Clydesdale, obviously. 

I tend to use Elsever which in my opinion is a very high quality database. I was able to find some great articles on case fatality in covid patients coming out of Israel earlier this year. They were disheartening though and I'm now of the belief that we're never getting rid of this thing. Way too many breakout infections even with double vaccinations. This is going to be a long-term management thing.

Just on a point of order, Ivermectin is neither a new nor experimental drug. It was first (synthesised?) in the 70's and has been used to treat patients since 1981, and was used very recently in the US to treat refugees for worms. It's not like it came down with the last shower. It's an anti-parasitic and there's a fair chance that someone reading this has been issued it at some point, and hasn't even been aware of that. Especially fisty whose lifestyle choices probably put place in him in a high exposure category to all manner of parasatism. He is certain, I am not. Blessed is the mind too small for doubt, I suppose.

I don't know how effective Ivermectin is in the capacity of a covid treatment. But what I'm not going to do is write it off because a group of talking heads, who are probably shilling for somebody for some kind of reason, and who are not scientists, scream 'Horse paste!'. I'm sorry, but some of us are more thoughtful than that. We need every round in the chamber to get on top of this thing and if Ivermectin proves to be a live round, I'm for it, and we need unbiased research, and commentary, to determine whether it is or isn't.

I love how you use the word “parasitism” because it’s a bigger word than “parasites” even though it’s not the right word to use. Like I said, you try really hard to sound smart but it doesn’t work.

It's true Joe Rogan is a black belt in mixed martial arts. He was the second person to receive his black belt from Dana White, the first was Chuck Liddell.

Sounds like a conflict of interest lol.

I always find it funny when untrained randos think they can beat up trained martial artists/ MMA fighters just because they're bigger than them. Doesn't matter if your twice DJ's size if you've never felt a leg kick before you'll crumble. Doesn't matter if you weigh around 190 and you think you can take Jose Aldo he'll have you wincing on the floor after one body shot.
