Now that Dos Santos is the champ, i want to see an all out strikers fight between Dos Santos and Overeem. It would be no ********, only fireworks

@osvalindo I agree that's the fight I'd like to see more than JDS vs Lesnar.  But I don't know who is going to win between Overeem and Lesnar...

If Overeem beats Lesnar (which i think he will) then i see him beating JDS and being the next UFC champ.

Allistair has anazing striking, and great sub's i think he would finish JDS early

If Werdum almost outstruck Overeem and JDS destroyed Werdum then I am pretty sure JDS will retain.

Overeem/JDS would be fun for sure. But I dont think it would be some amazing striking match like some people think. I think it would be a dominant performance by Dos Santos.

Overeem doesn't have the chin to hang in there with Junior.

UHM Okay

I agree that Overeem v JDS is the best matchup for the fans.  it will be interesting because as good of a boxer JDS is Reem is just as good of a kickboxer.  Plus Overeem has some of the most lethal knees in MMA.  His boxing is sufficient but his legs are by far his best weapon.  While both are dynamic strikers Reem would really have to press and clinch with JDS in order to not catch a right hand like Velasquez.  It will be interesting to see how he deals with Lesnar first.

Either JDS by KO, or Overeem by guillotine.

Junior Vs Overeem

i really don't think that alistair has any chance to beat JDS :

1- he doesn't got the speed to do it.

2- he doesn't got the wrestling to do it.

3- he's not a real natural heavy weight so he can't take it from JDS he will sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep not even a TKO

but a reaaal K.O

This is the matchup I want to see. Could go either way. I would expect to see Overeem open up his striking a bit since he doesnt have to worry about the takedown.

@livetowrestle who knows, either fighter might try and mix it up and shoot for a takedown when the other isn't expecting it

Lets not forget those 2 take downs JDS pulled off on Carwin in the 3rd round just for the hell of it. The thing I'm most interested in if JDS does face Overeem is if JDS will check leg kicks.

If Overeem manages to get past Lesnar, I don't think he would fair too well against JDS. JDS did something that Overeem couldn't do, he demolished Fabricio Werdum in 1:21. I don't think that Overeem's striking is as crisp or powerful as JDS'. I think that Overeem has more versatile striking, but Cain had a more versatile striking attack, and he got KO'd in 64 seconds. Even if Overeem got out of the first round, I think that Overeem would gas, and either get finished in the 2nd round, or lose by UD. Let's not forget that JDS trains with the Nogs, so it's safe to say that he has some very good BJJ. Overeem has had problems in the past with Brazilian fighters. His record isn't that good against them.
