Smith vs. Ryder
Callum Smith, TKO, R8
This is probably gonna be a much closer fight than expected. In boxing people tend to look at anyone with more than 1 loss on their record as not very good! This is true often as boxers & promoters have a fascination with the Mystical 0 and Undefeated records! But it isn't always the case, sometimes a guy has an early loss, split decision looses or just puts it together late in their careers! A few recent examples of this are Jamel Herring and Andrew Cancio, both World Champs with more than 3 losses! Ryder has suffered a bit of all those things, the split decision losses and putting it together late into his career. he has looked great recently, finishing good guys. This is a life changing fight for Ryder so i expect him to give it absolutely everything. Thing is he is up against in my opinion the no.1 Super middleweight and possible Light Heavyweight, if/when he moves up! Callum Smith has it all, power, technique, slick boxing, footwork, cardio. Really really good. I have him on the edges of the P4P top 10 and along with Josh Taylor is thye best the UK has at the minute. The only thing that I think may hinder Smith is he might not be very motivated for Ryder. I mean he was looking for a Canelo fight at Anflield, or unification bouts, even a massive domestic clash with Billy Joe Saunders. So fighting John ryder may be a let down and he could take his eye off the ball. If he does he will be in a bit of trouble. I don't think he will tho, he seems a very grounded guy so I expect him to be focused on the job and afetr a competitive start hios class will show and he gets the stoppage, maybe a corner stoppage as Ryder is tough

Glover vs. Billam-Smith
Chris Billam-Smith, TKO, R6
Decent domestic scrap. This card has a few of them on the main card. I always love a good British domestic scrap!! Especially when its got the added element of North vs South!! Unfortunately for the home crowd, I don't think their boy Glover will beat Billam Smith. Still should be a fun scrap while it lasts.

Tennyson vs. Evans
James Tennyson, TKO, R4
Tennyson has looked fantastic over the last year or so. Really putting on some devasting performances and getting rid of opponents at a European level, so not just domestic. Evans has not lived up to his early career promise, being an amatuer stand out, winning a world amatuer medal a lot was expected from him, unfortunately it hasn't panned out. Tennyson ends any glimmers of hope with another impressive finish and moves back into World Title contention. Where I think he can do much better than what he showed in a loss to still World champ, Tevin Farmer

Fowler vs. Scarff
Anthony Fowler, TKO, R4
Fowler needs to get back on track after the loss to Fitzy, last time out wasn't super impressive either in a bit of a slog points win over a long best his best Brian Rose. Fowler started his career with a lot of hype, being an Olympian and a KO artist. I think he gets some of that buzz back here by stopping a tough, undefeated but out matched Scarff

Very disappointing performance from Smith. I don't even think he won. That dud probably gets him the Canelo fight next.

I agree with you Shake mate.
I missed the fight live as I fell asleep.  But I have caught up and Ryder won that fight. He was on top of Smith all fight  thats the worst I've seen him look.
The UK and especially Sky Sports/Matchroom shiws are becoming rife with dodgy decisions for the A Side fighter.

I mean the fight was close but Ryder won the fight. How you can give it to Smith by 6 rounds is a joke!!!

I think Canelo will stay P4P #1 for a while. His 3 rivals all looked mediocre in their last 3 fights; GGG,Smith, and BJS. Andrade is out there too but he's already said he has no interest in fighting him.
