Romanov is a BEAST! He will KO this guy, who fought the majority of his career at Light Heavyweight (thats 25lbs less than Heavyweight!) Only slight doubt is Romanov gassed hard last fight! But that was only because he dropped his opponent 2x and punched himself out trying to get the KO! So I still expect an early KO unless this guys heads made of cement!

What a great fight that turned out to be!! Kovalev dominated from the start by using his jab and outboxing Yarde. But r8 all of a sudden Yarde stung Kovalev, who then seemed like all the life drained out of him! Yarde punched him about the ring and the ref was seconds from stopping it. So was Kovalevs corner, Buddy McGirt, who obviously after seeing his fighter Maxim Dadashev die just weeks ago said to Kovalev that he was going to throw in the towel if Kovalev never responded.
Those words worked! As Kovalev came back to life and Yarde had thrown everything into trying to finish! In the end Kovalev was landing more often with more power and Yarde coukd take no more.
Yarde done well, I can't help but think if he'd had some tougher tests before stepping up to a p4p level fighter. Hopefully the punishment he took doesn't have long term affects and he bounces back as he has talent

2 upsets at the bottom of the card. Well kinda! I told you guys to check Karimov BoxRec page! He had a draw with Turgumbekov who was a big favourite. Nobody called 3-14 Tukhtarov winning, except FantasyBot!
I went with a few underdogs on this card which you shouldn't really do in boxing! But I got 1 right, Karimov and Papin was seconds away from winning! He was dropped with 30 seconds of the last round to go in a round he was winning! Makubu won by 2points, so that 10-8 swung it in his favour! I was gutted when watching!
Anyway, good card with some great fights
