Hidlay  rematch vs Deakin Midlands rematch I’d love to see in the finals. 

I’m not sure he beats Nick Lee but I really like this Pat Glory kid outta Princeton too. Can’t believe Jack Murller lost his conference final too. Don’t count him out though. He’s got some big wins.

You should definitely drop back in at least throw some picks together. I dont train for each event like I once did but since I know I will be watching the fights I still throw picks together.


Spencer Lee is tough as hell but I really like Glory he is tough in the scrambles. Either way one of these guys is losing the zero in their records. My money is on Glory

133 is stacked DeSantos has lost to Gross both times they met this year 6-2/6-3. I think his best matchup could be against Phillipi out of Pitt. This kid is only a sop****re and is looking better every time I watch him.


Nick Lee is at 141 not 125. He just lost to Pletcher 6-5 in the Conference Championships but Lee beat Pletcher in their dual meet last month so we will see who wants it more. Leaning Lee to win the rubber match

Yea. I know. Maybe I worded something wrong. Nick Lee beat Fletcher in duels and lost in Bog 10s

Also. DeSantos is actually 1&2 vs Gross this year and has two losses to Bravo Young twice. Makes them 2-2 career. 

Phillips is a stud. I went to see Pitt vs Drexel this season. They got some serious talent at a few weights.

Bo Nickal can’t wait to show the world what he’s all about when he makes the transition from the wrestling mat to the MMA cage.

Nickal, a four-time All-American wrestler and three-time NCAA Division I champion, hopes to compete in the delayed Tokyo Olympic Games next year before transitioning his mat skills to the cage. The 24-year-old Penn State star currently trains at American Top Team and has recently helped Jorge Masvidal prepare for his title fight against UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.

Former wrestler, and ex-Bellator and ONE Championship welterweight champion Ben Askrentook to Twitter to show his excitement at Nickal’s potential switch to MMA, and urged the major promotions to lock him up with an early contract offer, Nickal issued a stern warning that, once he has competed in Japan, he plans to make a big impact inside the cage.

“For y’all that are late to the party MMA is my future immediately after the Olympics. I want to give these guys one more year to enjoy the spotlight then it’s time to takeover.”

When Nickal eventually does make his MMA debut, he will join fellow Penn State wrestlers Bubba Jenkins, Ed Ruth and Phil Davis, who have all successfully transitioned to MMA

Great start as expected. Some big upset. Most shocking for me is last years149 national champion going up to 157 as 11 seed dropping to 22 seed Dazjon Clark in first round, 2 seed Jayden Eirman dropping to 15 seed Kizhan Clark but no bigger than returning national champion #1 seed David Carr dropping yo 17 seed Hunter Willits in OT also in the second round of tournament. Wow. What a wild start to one of my favorite times of year. ******* nuts.

Yea, I know Bruce enjoyed this weekend. PSU dominated with 5 champions in 10 weight classes. Roma Bravo Young, who posted of him early in this thread his freshman year before ranked would be someone to watch, won again. You know ATT opened that PSU gym and RBY already has ties in his hometown to mma. Gonna be fun to see who else goes to fight. Another returning champ from PSU Brooks has also commented on it. Young also says he watches and looks up to Khabib and his crew. I hope he goes right to fighting instead of world wrestling. Both would be fun though.
