Normally i would say that the other wrestlers have an advantage because all they do is train freestyle from the jump, but i know for a fact that kyle has been training freestyle for a long time as well.
While some other wrestlers would be world champions at folkstyle like zain, kyle's focus and strength has always been his freestyle approach. That's why he didnt have a ton of pins, but a whole pile of techs. With that being said, he got caught. Anyone can get caught and that seemed like a quick fall, but regardless, if either of these guys gets a 5 point lead, thats almost a lock.

@mbach I agree about it being ashame folk style isn’t popular world wide. I personally think it translates best into mma. You get the takedown diversity of freestyle but spend the more time grappling/mat control. Greco is great vs Judokas and in clinch in general but spends no time in the ground and no leg attacks standing
