I really, really, really want to see Edgar vs Melendez.
Melendez has the same power to rock Edgar like Maynard did, plus the tenacity and cardio to keep it up for more than a round.
I'm not saying I would necessarily pick Melendez yet, because Frankie Edgar is a god among men, but at least on paper, Melendez poses some real problems for Edgar.

Besides, didn't Dana confirm he would be in the UFC soon? I'll have to catch the MMA Hour podcast and see what he said, but I'm sure most of it is just a smokescreen.

I think he should fight Pettis or the loser of Henderson vs Guida, I don't think he should get a shot right off the bat.
