I just want to start a thread showing my appreciation for J-Lau and his huge win over the "#1 LW" fighter in the world Melvin Guillard last night!!! Joe Lauzon is always counted out and always comes to fight....When he fought Jens Pulver it was supposed to be an easy win for Pulver...What happened? J-Lau wins :48 seconds into the fight via KO then the "#1 LW" comes calling on his way to killing Edgar or Maynard for the title and what happened? J-Lau with the submission at :47 seconds of round 1!!! So Joe Lauzon congrats as you continue showing you're better then the #1 LW's in the world!!!!!

Awesome fight for Lauzon.  Guillard overlooked him and paid the price.

J-Lau is one of my fav. fighters and I'm glad he came out and won like that. I was pissed when he lost to G-Sot but I think this win was bigger for him than the G-Sot win would've been.

I picked against him. I like him a lot better than melvin but i thought melvin was going on a tear!! I think my comment on my pick was hoping for joe but i think melvin takes it.  Great job for Jlau showing that NO ONE should ever be looked past.  In all the cases weve had over the years, people still make that silly mistake.  Everyone at this level is a threat anywhere anytime! joe showed it again and im sure we will see it again still.

Siked to see who he fights next, I wouldn't mind two of my favorite guys going up against each other and having Cole Miller/J-Lau.

It sounds like Guillard took him lightly which was very stupid.  I picked Guillard because it seemed like he was maturing and was making better use of his talent.  Maybe I was wrong about him.
Props to Lauzon, hopefully this is a springboard to bigger and better things.  I thought about picking him long and hard, and I wish that I had.

Yeah, Melvin took him lightly and was looking past him.  I think this was a big win for Lauzon and that a fight with C. Miller may be a step backwards from this win.  I'd like to see him fight Jim Miller or Maynard.
