As much as I want Romero to become champion, it's just not going to happen against Whittaker.

Head says Whittaker, Gut says Romero, Heart says Whittaker. I guess Whittaker by UD again.

I expect a better fight too.

Unfortunately I have to concur with Mikey. For some reason, I just have a really bad feeling that Romero will catch Knuckles this time around. Hope to **** I'm wrong, rob is my favorite fighter.

However, the first fight wouldn't have been close if not for that dirty knee stomp. I hate them and think they should be banned. It's really just joint manipulation, and if you're going to allow those, you might as well allow finger breaking.

Love seeing whittaker get to where he is at by fighting at a better weight. I can only think of a few fighters who have done this, but it says to me that some guys are cutting too much and aren't hitting their proper peak. But I digress.

As for the fight, I wouldn't be surprised by any ending. I just know that this is one of the must see fights of the year. I keep getting this weird feeling that whittaker may get stunned, but he has become one of the most complete fighters in the Ufc. His td defense in their 1st fight was a thing of beauty.

Yoel making it 5 rounds with knuckles may be a credit to just how good yoel is. These are clearly the 2 best in the division right now. I think the margin for error is so small for these 2 against one another. Either guy can end the fight instantly.

You don't see a fight except maybe at heavyweight where both guys are bringing this kind of power to a fight. I'll go yoel 3rd rnd ko just to be different.

I think if Whittaker's knee holds up through the fight with Romero attacking it I think he gets the finish here. Think he's more able to push a pace on Romero and wear him down. Whittaker by 4th round head kick as Romero starts to get slow and sloppy. I know this may sound crazy, but considering how easy it was for him to get up from all of Romero's takedowns in the first fight it may be a good idea to push foward hard early and let Romero shoot in a few times to wear himself out.

Huge supporter of both these guys. I wish Yoel had a chance to hold the real belt. With a young blood like Whittaker on the throne its a tall order for him to get there. If Romero was in the UFC at the same time Silva reigned there would never have been an argument for Anderson Silva being the GOAT. Romero would have been known as the greatest. But Whittaker is the real deal and will remain champion for years to come. The division is too old to keep up with him.

After Yoel there's really nobody left to truly challenge Bobby Knuckles anytime soon. Maybe Gastelum & Weidman. Maybe

^ If Whittaker wins I think a matchup with Gastelum would be really good.

Weidman I think needs another fight once he comes back from injury to get into the talk. Maybe Weidman vs Jacare.

Whittaker would straight up beat the **** out of both weidman and Gastelum IMO.I doubt many will agree with me but I feel Paulo Costa is the biggest threat at MW right now other than Romero;  he's undefeated, every one of his wins has been by KO/ TKO and he has yet to even enter the third round in any match. Dude's a murderer. Hope he gets given a high profile bout soon and before he popes for whatever makes him a supermutant. Rockhold has likely capped and I expect him to go a similar route to Weidman.

I think Yoel will pace himself a lot better than he did in the first fight and use less wrestling losing the first 1 or 2 rounds and then in the 3rd or the 4th uncorks either a knee or a kick that sends Whittaker into the shadow realm or Whittaker could out box him for 5 rounds
