It's true, yeah. I guess Americans aren't as used to seeing pacific islanders as much as we are down under. Grew up with a lot of them playing rugby league and mostly all the tongans/samoans are built like brick ****houses. Not lean and often a bit flabby but they are as strong as oxes and felt like granite benches when I had to tackle them.
Bam Bam is part Koorie too I believe.

Wasn't trying to be racist or to get into a thing. Just talking from experience.
I wasn't trying to say you don't get islanders who aren't in 'shape'...as I say, I used to play league with them routinely, and although short/stocky they still had cardio for days. The eye test isn't really a good indicator or conditioning, especially when you're talking about Islanders.

Nothing racist about it. Many of them are just bigger physically. For Tuvalu has the biggest percentage of overweight people and not all of that is diet.

You are hilarious. I wonder what you would say if I said something like, "All the islanders I work with have great senses of humor" Is that casual racism? No, that wouldn't be racist because I don't know the guys you work with! They may well all do! If you said every pacific islander has a good sense of humour that would be exactly the same as saying every pacific islander is flabby. A statement that isn't true. Doesn't make it offensive! I'm not offended, Tuivasa wouldn't be, I don't think anyone would be. As I thought the very amicable exchange between myself and Fishrat showed.
