I'm by no means on the Tuivasa hype train yet after one, admittedly impressive, fight. But I back him to win impressively again just because Asker is so awful.

I'm Aussie and a big Bam Bam fan, but that wasn't really a flying knee. What was more impressive to me was the way he dropped coulter with a leg kick...that thing was thunderous.

He should pick up the win here. An exciting HW prospect. I'd like to see him diversify his camp and training repertoire, because despite being a Hunto fan, he's not the guy to develop a young talent like Tuivasa.

Remains to be seen how he fares if he gets taken down by Asker. Asker is not a world beater by any means, but he has shown a good mount and ground and pound before. I do think Tuivasa gets it done by KO though. I keep thinking back to that brutal KO he took from Cannonier. I'll be rooting for Asker though.

Tuivasa's "flying knee" KO was so incredible that people forgot he looked flat footed and sloppy against a mediocre Coulter... He is certainly big, powerfull and wild, but his cardio is terrible and his ground game nonexistent.

Asker would be a great heavyweight if he had a chin. His boxing is very good, he always looks for the take down, his ground game is decent, and he has cardio. Hélas, he can't take a punch (or a flying knee).
On a side note, his knockout losses were against Harris and Cannonier, two HEAVY hitters, so his chin might be better than we think it is...

If Tuivasa can't Knock him out early, it will be take downs all night and a sub or a TKO by ground and pound late in the 3rd for Asker.

Tuivasa tried a greco-roman throw & ended up on his back, to which he got back up. Tai looked a LOT better vs Coulter than Sherman did.

Almost EVERY heavyweight is flat-footed. Its hard to KO somebody stupid standing on your tippy-toes...

But I agree that somebody that flubby has nowhere near the cardio needed to fight for 15 minutes.

My only concern with Tuivasa is the amount of time he spends podcasting and the like, same with Pedro. That being said, I think it'd take a baseball bat to knock him out and them Samoans (he's Samoan right?) love to fight. Easy pick in the end.

My concern with Tuivasa is that one flying knee aside he has done nothing to make me think he isn't a sloppy fatso who will get exposed at any level above Askers.

Don't let Tuivasa's frame fool you. OK sure he's a bit flabby but all them islander boys are. Remember, to take him into the 3rd, you need to roll with him through 1 and 2 and that's gunna take the wind out of anybody's sails. Not too many HW's have the cardio to make it count.
