Nog should've tapped...If Nog is one of those old school guys that thinks its weak to tap he just cost himself a lot of time at the end of his career...this could be the last time we see Nog in the cage depending on the severity of the injuries

Hey, I jsut remembered something. I met Frank Mir in the June 2010 and my question was "when are you gonna break someone elses arm, like you did to Sylvia?" His answer was, "I dont know, these guys jsut wont tap."

@Dakej do a search for "Rodgrigo" when building your ranking and it will come up.  Sometimes it just takes searching for one name or another and it will pop up.

Absolutely love the submission finish for Mir.  That is my favorite submission, and I love to use the kimura as a sweep from the bottom position, and hold onto the kimura for the finish from side mount - just like Mir did against Nog.  Beautiful jiu-jitsu, and way to weather the storm.  Very happy for Mir.

I have a feeling Mir gained a lot more love after this win. He tends to get the short hand of the stick when it comes to support, but from what I have been reading from everyone, they all seem impressed by what he was able to do.

Mir is so damn strong with good technique it makes his holds devastating. That's the 3rd limb I know of that Mir has broken in MMA. I thought Mir would win but absolutely did not expect Mir to sub Nog. The thing is Nog looked really good up until that point, his stand up looked fast, and he had Mir hurt. Mir just showed how dangerous his ground game can be. If you are wise if Mir gets a hold of your limb tap because Mir is looking to destroy it if you don't.

I wouldn't be surprised if he did something to Hardonk's arm when he put that kimura on him.

I went to The 810 Zone Bar & Grill at the Harrah's Casino last night with the girlfriend to watch the fights, and the cheers for win Big Nog was hammering Mir were really loud.. when Mir got the sub, the place got a little quiet, except for me and one other guy goes, "YEAH!"... then they showed the replay and we saw that Mir broke Big Nog's arm.. and the whole place was a simultaneous "OOOOOOOHHH!" .. and a couple of "OH ****!"s.

I respect Mir as a ighter but i really dislike the guy. The main reason for that being that he never really gives his opponents much credit. I mean he wouldn't even admit that Nog had him seriously rocked in their fight and that is just disrespectful if you ask me.
