I take back what I said about Overeem being overrated. However; I'm still cheering for JDS when they fight, and I'm picking JDS to win the fight. I'd also like to see the UFC bring in Josh Barnett. I think he would make things interesting in the UFC HW division.

It was hard to know that overeem was that good. His mma career at heavyweight has been successful, but he has mostly faced scrubs.

@ben he has crushed some cans for sure but really hes finished everyone but werdum in the first round. Overeem was a top lhw before he stopped trying to cut weight. Hes always had some serious skills and watching him progress is awesome!!

Gotta admit i was starting to doubt just a bit with all the **** talking the reem haters were doing then the lawsuit with golden glory yesterday but still pulled through!!

Ben, you're right about his record at HW but remember he was a very good to elite LHW and the skills are always better as the weight classes go down. I almost changed my pick yesterday watching the PRIDE marathon. Couldn't believe Reem's corner threw in the towel vs. Lil' Nog. Still think the Reem will lose to JDS and would to a healthy Cain or even Cormier. Speed kills, especially now that most fighters are well rounded enough to stop obvious, single-skill attacks. The future is transitions and quickness ala Edgar, Mighty Mouse, and Cruz.

its obvious that JDS has quicker hands than Brock but did anyone notice Overeem's Head movement in that fight last night. That was impressive, I am glad that the American Fight public got to see Overeem in their beloved UFC so he can now get the Credit he deserves as one of the most devastating fighters walking.

He may be the best strategist in the heavyweight division as well. I will be taking Reem over JDS.

@lopati. good choice. plus he is a +190 to JDS -240. i see a choke against the cage for overeem in this fight and i'm a big fan of jds's but overeem is just too much for anybody. the guy is going to have 4 major titles to his resume.

I figured Brock was gonna dive into a knee early on but it was still good.

As far as JDS vs the Reem I think JDS will take simply because he has a better chin than Reem. Reem has a mild advantage in the striking but history has shown Reem only needs to eat one or two heavy hands for his night to be over. One big uppercut down the pipe around the third when JDS will have a little more in his gas tank, he'll knock him out and continue his reign of terror.

He came into the fight unhealthy, big whoop. You can tell by the kick it probably reopened surgical wounds (cringes) This was brocks best move for his MMA career, I'll miss him :(

That kick would have put anybody down. It has nothing to do with Brocks surgery or health. Getting hit just right in the liver will put anybody down

All Overeem did was go after Brock's stomach that has been damaged and had surgery on twice...whatever. Overeem will get KO'd by JDS don't worry.

The surgery had absolutely nothing to do with the fight. Brock Lesnar was 100% going into the fight. Overeem landed a liver kick that would have knocked anyone down. The surgery didnt effect Brocks performance.

Even if it did. You cant blame Overeem. He wanted win, if Brock didn't want to get hit in the body she shouldn't have taken the fight. Why should Overeem be careful to no hit his surgically repaired mid section.
