First of all, this is a win-win situation for the UFC. Unless the fight totally sucks, either guy will have a ton of hype heading into their title fight against the Velasquez/Dos Santos winner. And that person will have a ton of hype coming off of being on FOX. So, the UFC should be pretty happy about this one. As for the fight itself, it's not rocket science to favor Overeem if it's striking and Lesnar if it's wrestling. I could see either happening, but look at there being way more question marks on the Lesnar side of the equation. Is he 100% healthy? And even if he is, will he be in peak condition? Is he still truly motivated, or is this possibly one last hurrah and pay day? I'm not comfortable with it and I've got to take Ubereem.

I see either a brutal first round KO for Reem or a later round (2nd or 3rd) TKO for Lesnar after surviving the initial onslaught and getting the fight to the ground.

Someone is getting KTFO in the first round.

...flips coin...

Overeem by KO.

If Brock get the takedown and starts landing shots though, I doubt Overeem doesn't get stopped.

Big fan of both, but I think Reem should take this fight and rather easily. Big props to Brock taking this fight tho, if he was only in it for the paycheck he would have settled for a third fight with Mir, but rather took on someone that would keep him relevant in the division. I believe the winner of this fight gets the next title shot, as it was offered to Reem prior to accepting this fight.

I think it'll be similar to Mir/Lesnar 2.

Like Gregory said, there's too many questions about Brock.  It'll mostly come down to who can keep their game plan and implement it first.  Brock's brain shuts off as soon as he gets hit and "get the hell out of Dodge" takes over.  Overeem's striking turned to crap as soon as Werdum made him worry about getting taken down.  Right now, I'm thinking that Brock is going to start round 1 with his flying knee and eat a shot.  After that, Overeem will be on him like he was Brett Rogers. Overeem TKO Rd 1.
I will still be hoping that Brock can somehow become a beast and dominate Overeem.  We'll see.

Basically if Lesnar can get Overeem down and hold him I think he wins the fight.  If Overeem can prevent it and land a couple clean shots on Lesnar it's an early night for him.  I'm going with Overeem because Lesnar's chin is so weak.

Lesnar will get hurt in the first round getting a take down, overeem will survive the first round due to his bjj and his defensive wrestling.  COming out to hte second brock will try to repeat the process and overeem will land hard hurting a hurt brock even more en route to putting him down and ending the fight.   I really want to see a reem knee hit as brock goes for a takedown!!
